Voice overlay.

Push to talk for the German Dominion proximity voice chat - while The Isle has the focus. The website voice page cannot see your keys when you are in the game; the overlay can.

Windows 10 or 11. Under one megabyte. No installer - unzip and run. If you installed the overlay before 19 July, download it again once: the server address changed and older copies cannot update themselves to it. After that the overlay keeps itself up to date automatically.

Windows SmartScreen may warn about a new, unsigned application the first time. Choose "More info", then "Run anyway".

How it works

  1. Run IsleDeutschlandRP-VoiceOverlay.exe and sign in with Steam.
  2. Choose how your microphone opens - push to talk, push to mute, voice activation or always open - and bind any key or mouse button to it.
  3. Join the server. The overlay connects to the proximity voice chat automatically and stays on top of the game.
  4. Play. Nearby players hear you - distance and direction match the game.

Good to know

  • Voice only - the overlay never touches the game or reads game memory.
  • It connects exclusively to germandominion.de.
  • Your bound key is never sent anywhere; it is read locally to switch your microphone.
  • Prefer the browser? The voice page still works - push to talk there needs the browser window focused.
